A little quote that I want to remember everyday...

If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly.

Princess Tea Birthday Party for Brooke (5) and Skylar (3)

Its nice that Brooke and Skylar's birthdays are only 1 month apart and that they are both girls so they can easily share a party! Plus all of Skylar's friends are the younger sisters of Brooke's friends. We had 13 little girls enjoy a fabulous princess day! The party was 3 weeks ago in the middle of their birthdays.
Thanks Gail for the balloon and flower center pieces!

Princess crown station.

Skylar having a bite to eat before the party.

Star wand station. Brooke wore her Princess Sofia costume.

Daddy helping cut out stars.

I made about 150 mini cupcakes! They were a hit.

We played musical chairs. I felt bad that at least 3 of the 3 year olds cried when they got out! Usually the 5 and 6 year olds won. Oh well...
 Tea party time!

Cupcake time for my 2 beautiful girls.

The weather was spotty all day but fortunately nice enough to have the piƱata outside.
My 2 yr old niece taking the first swing.

Brooke hit it so hard she broke the zip tie!

Back in action.

None of the girls could break it so the other daddy at the party, Matt, got in a few good hits and the candy flew!

Present time!

Skylar posing in her princess dress that night. Love the goofy face!
