A little quote that I want to remember everyday...

If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly.

Easter

Brooke was lucky enough to go on 3 Easter egg hunts last weekend.

Hunt #1 - Saturday at Draper Park with the Waltons.

Brooke was so sweet to carry Skylar's basket and fill it equally with hers.

Hunt #2 - Sunday morning at home.

Teddy bear pancake for Easter breakfast.

Hunt #3 - at my parent's house Sunday afternoon.

The kids enjoying the new beach that overlooks the valley (see last photo for the view).

Brooke sharing her candy with Skylar. Thanks Gigi for the adorable matching Easter dresses!

My parents prepared a wonderful Easter BBQ dinner. Jason did a great job grilling up the kabobs!

These two little buddies are almost inseparable and loved the dirt! Brooke especially was filthy. This is the dirtiest she has ever been and I can see we are in store for a lot of fun when we go camping this summer.

At the end of the day Brooke got a bath in this bucket! We couldn't believe she could fit.

Gail's friend Kat joined us for Easter this year and prepared this yummy German chocolate cake.

Most of the day we sat out on the beach at the end of the backyard and enjoyed the sun, family and this view! Easter couldn't have been more perfect.
