A little quote that I want to remember everyday...

If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly.

Valentines

Its fun having Brooke in school this year so she could pass out Valentines. Too bad they had to be store bought goodies. I did however make some delicious coconut sugar cookies with salted caramel middles recipe courtesy of Fawn (thank you!) that I delivered to a few lucky people. You'll have to see a picture on her blog since I forgot to take one but I made them into cute Valentines!

Here Brooke is dressed for school in pinks and reds of course with her little Valentine bag!

Here we are after school checking out her loot. I was surprised at how little candy she got with 11 classmates, but I'm not complaining. I think the best Valentine was tiny containers of pink, lavender and white Play-doh.
