A little quote that I want to remember everyday...

If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly.

Wedding

On July 26th my dad (Marv) married Gail in my backyard. Everyone flew in from Utah or California and stayed at my house! It was a perfect heartfelt ceremony and dinner.

The table is set...
Our private chef (Lisa) is hard at work...

The ring bearer was Gail's grandson Jack.
Jason was the best man.

Left to right: Dustin (Gail's son), wife Emily & son Jack, Dick & Margie (Gail's parents), the happy couple, Cassie (Gail's daughter) & husband Nick, me & Jason, Jeaninne (Gail's bestfriend) & husband Glenn

Hor dourves... Kenya: "smells good!"
Dinner menu consisted of 7 courses, several included hints of lavender.

The night ended around the camp fire with cheesecake to follow.

This day was absolutely perfect! We are all so happy to be one big family and are looking forward to spending many more happy times together.

Looks like it went off without a hitch! I love Gail's dress (and of course her ring - absolutely beautiful)! I hope that you and Jason enjoyed yourselves.

So beautiful! I love all the decorations! Part of me wishes our wedding could be that intimate. What a fun way to end the night too!
