A little quote that I want to remember everyday...

If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly.

Venice

St. Mark's Square. Remember I told you about all the pigeons?!?
St. Mark's Basilica. The Church was just as beautiful inside, but no cameras were allowed.
St. Mark's Squares is just behind and to the right of Jason. Our hotel was only about a block the other way. There were many street vendors selling souvenirs.

This was the view from our hotel room where we could hear the gondoliers singing!

There were so many stores selling these beautiful masks for Venice's Carnevale.

One of the many outdoor cafes.

This is a picture of the Winged Lion of St. Mark. The lions are scattered about Venice in countless paintings and sculptures.

This is a picture from the top of Rialto bridge. This was a crazy shopping area were I picked up many good souvenirs!
Another picture from the top of Rialto Bridge looking out over the Grand Canal.
Glass shop in Murano.
