A little quote that I want to remember everyday...

If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly.

Pediatrician visit & fishing video

Skylar had her 1 month pediatrician visit today and Brooke had her 2 year visit. Both girls got an A+! Skylar weighs 11 lbs 5 oz and is 22.5" long and is in the 90th percentile for height and weight. I can't image she'll grow up to be a tall girl given my and Jason's height but think she is so big now because she was so big at birth. Brooke wasn't this big until she was 2.5 months old which is making hand-me down clothes a bit difficult since Skylar fits into all of Brooke's old summer dresses right now and its too cold to wear them!

Our pediatrician also checked Skylar's hips and said they feel perfect! But we are still seeing the specialist next week to make sure.

Brooke is now 34.5" tall and weighs 30 lbs and is in the 80th percentile. So both my girls are growing great!

Both girls got shots today and poor Brooke screamed and cried like I have never heard before! She clung on to me for at least 5 minutes until she calmed down enough to enjoy the gummy bears they gave her. Skylar did much better with the shot. :-)

One more video taken Easter morning of Brooke fishing and also Skylar at the end. This is a thank you to Aunt Cassie and Uncle Nick for the cute fishing game for Brooke! She loves it and already knew exactly what to do because our dear friend Tiffany also got her one of different color fish last month. So thanks to all of you who have given Brooke such fun toys! I especially love the Melissa & Doug wood puzzles and toys.
