A little quote that I want to remember everyday...

If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly.

Wait, wait, wait

Based on my cycle due date I am now a week late but only 3 days late using the ultrasound date. Yesterday I had a feeling that it would not be today but maybe Monday or Tuesday, I hope so at least! Last night I walked at maximum incline on the treadmill for 1/2 mile to help kick start things and will do the same again today.

To keep busy this weekend we have been working on redoing the window treatment in 3 rooms. In Brooke's room we added blackout shades behind the blinds that let in a lot of light. Her room isn't totally dark but much better at nap time. The steel blue scarf window treatments in her room were actually in Jason's office for the past year but he didn't really like the color.

The dark burgundy curtains in the dining room match Jason's office better and block out too much light in the dining room so we took those down and Gail is sewing them for Jason's office. Then we bought new curtains for the dining room and will change up the style. We should have these hung today and I'll post a before and after picture.

Although waiting for Skylar is getting a little old its really nice to get these projects done around the house that otherwise wouldn't for a long time.

When Brooke was born my parents were here for 10 days waiting with us. Its now been 10 days again. I really can't believe its taking this long. I thought they would be here just a few days before her birth so they could stay longer after. Oh well, we'll adjust one way or another and after a month it will be no big deal and we'll be in the swing of things.

1/2 mile, max incline, and still nothing?!!! MAN! There was some pizza in SLC that they swore would bring on Labor and my friend ate it and sure enough:) I am sure it's an old wines tale, but maybe look up the herbs that are supposed to do that?! Worth a try:) Thinking of you......
